Keynote logoFor 25 years we’ve been importing and supplying musical instruments and accessories. We travel to Germany, the U.S. & UK frequently; cutting deals with the biggest instrument manufacturers to bring home the best to local music stores. We know the music stores want the best deal on the best gear for their customers and we deliver.

Irish music stores are hurting with the onslaught of Internet companies selling into Ireland who don’t care about their customers, only their credit card numbers. Why should they? The customer isn’t going to come banging down the door if something goes wrong!

As a distributor we see the direct effect that this is having on local music stores, who pay their overheads, display gear, employ staff, only to have themselves used as “try out” centres for people who then by the stuff on the internet. If people continue to do this, local stores will close, importers will close and then where will we be able to try out guitars and drums and get our last minute bits. You can’t nip online and get a set of strings or sticks just before your gig!

There are some great deals to be had at home, shop around, try gear out, trade gear in (try doing that online). Local music stores are where bands are born.
